The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete has impressive social media presence

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she begins her professional golf debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He basically advised me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He told me to go out there, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, especially with youth audiences.

Kai boasts substantial online presence and just introduced her own fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
